There are also some 8,000 copyright texts which can be copied by following the administrators' specific requirements clearly set out on screen. These requirements include "under the terms of a CCL licence", "by payment of a one-off fee" or "freely if acknowledged". All printing and copying is automatically logged to enable users to look up which texts were used on a given occasion or over specific periods.

HymnQuest provides fast, sophisticated searching facilities enabling users to search for words, phrases, dates and names.

Some searches can be limited to cover specific hymnbooks, enabling users to narrow down the results to books they have access to in their particular church.

A unique search facility is to be able to search for tunes based on their opening notes. - screen shot (6k).
